Bleached White Hemp and Organic Cotton Blended Yarn

This fine white single-ply hemp yarn is spun from long fibers, making this yarn very suitable for weaving fine fabrics and knitting jerseys. This yarn is also suitable for lighter woven fabrics that can be used for shirting or trousers. The fibers are sourced in China, eco-friendly oxygen bleaching and spinning were done in Europe.

Ecology

Hemp is relatively easy to grow a plant with hardly any natural enemies and does not need much water. The plant is therefore cultivated almost everywhere in the world without using herbicides or insecticides. The Asiatic hemp varieties are smaller than the European but also grow very fast so that weeds do not get the chance to develop.
